THE HOLMES MYTHOS

New Purple Moon

A purple moon sings to a night on high
While Lassoing souls for the dream
Honoring seasons some may recall
She’s Timeless, eternal and free

Breathing colors of painted desire,
lifting time to the sun
She awakens the sands of desert reprieve
Her loveliness is never undone

She falls to a light that melts in the east,
Her glory remains at hand
She catches the wind in timeless pursuit
Stretching out over the land

She sighs to nannar to burn in her love
Holding space for a smile
Echoing calls of holiness now
If only for a while

She calls the tides to marry the day
Washing on shores with a beat
Soaking minds in spiritual tides
Softening hearts in the heat

She greets the day while holding space
for lovers seeking her tune
Opening hearts of those who cry
While watching the new purple moon
